The ring design utilises a standard heat release band, meaning the inside of the ring is heated by the skin surface of the finger. If you want to measure the room temperature, take the ring off and let it sit for 10 minutes, if you want to measure the water temperature in your baby's bath, you get a quick response in seconds. The temperature can change during wear once the hand temperature changes, if it is cold outside (winter) or if it is very hot (summer). On the display you find several digits in multiple colours. The digit whose colour turns yellow/green is the correct temperature. The ring does not show the temperature with decimals.
